The Traffic Light Hack
The Materials
A traffic light (in reality, any light fixture will do)
One PC board
Three 5VCD/1A SPDT Micro Relays
One line driver CMOS chip (I used the
74HCT125
)
One male 25-pin (parallel cable) D-Sub connector
One male to female parallel cable (or you could use a
male-to-male cable
with
a female connector
instead, it doesn't really matter)
A power cable that plugs into the wa ll
A source of 4.5 - 5VDC
A switch
